Philosophy A Critique

The book which has been appropriately entitled "Philosophy --- A Critique" is primarily a book on epistemology i.e. on the theory of knowledge.

Epistemology is a branch of Philosophical discipline in the light of which, if at all, a given philosopher evaluates the extent to which human mind is capable of acquiring access to the knowledge of reality.

The first chapter of this book deals with philosophy as such, regarded as a world-view; the second, with philosophies or world-views arising out of various sciences; and the third, points out how far can philosophy rightly go in constructing a world-view, together with its bearing on guidance for life.
